After pumping eight blasts from a sawed-off shotgun at a group of rival gang members, twelve-year-old Kody Scott was initiated into the L.A. Monster is the most problematic book I own. Sanyika Shakur, under the moniker of Monster Kody Scott, did horrible things as a member of the Eight Tray Crips. The Culture and Politics of Street Gang Memoirs is an overview of a number of memoirs written by gang members across 30 years, in particular Sanyika Shakur's Monster: The Autobiography of an L.A. (Monster Kody) wrote the (Critically Acclaimed) best selling Autobiography based on his life, (Monster) (The Autobiography of an L.A. Monster: The Autobiography of an L.A. The first photo album contains 96 Polaroid photographs, many of which have been tagged (some in ink, others with the tag etched directly into the emulsion) by a wide swath ofLos Angeles gang members.
